The Designer Danna fell in love with crystals and their metaphysical meanings at the early age of 15. She created a necklace for herself with them and before she knew it she was selling necklaces to 17 stores nationwide with Macy’s trunk shows and features in magazines like Seventeen and Redbook. During college Danna studied fashion design and consequently became a fashion editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine and soon after a celebrity stylist. She dressed well-known stars for events like the Oscars, until she fell ill with a fatal bacterial infection. It was during this time that Danna became reacquainted with crystals and gemstones by practicing the art of “the laying on of stones.” She was so moved by the affects of properly placing the metaphysically healing pieces that she created Conscious Jewelry so that people could heal throughout the day and become aware of the stones and their very powerful healing properties.
