to metaphysically choose a stone is easy. simply choose the stone you are most attracted to. your subconscious will choose whatever is most metaphysically healing for you at that moment. once you read the meaning of the stone you chose, you should feel as if it completes you. you can be drawn to many different metaphysical stones day to day, and year to year, but your attraction to them might change depending on your journey.
choosing a crystal for someone else is also quite easy. one method involves visualizing the person for whom the crystal is being chosen, projecting that visualization to the crystals, and selecting the crystal that responds (or crystal to which you respond while visualizing the other person).
